Good afternoon. I have a problem with a 12-volt socket. Everything I plug into it burns out. It seems I need to take apart the centre tunnel to check if everything is OK with the connector. The fuse is ok. Has anyone had a similar experience? Has anyone already dismantled the central tunnel?

The E.Go's 12V socket is only powered, when you have turned the key and startet the car.  In this case the 12V battery is charged automatically. And here may be the problem: the charging voltage for a lead battery is about 14.3 Volts. As I had to learn, not every 12V tool as for example an USB charger withstands 14 Volts.

So I would measure the socket voltage at fist. If it's 14.3 Volts your socket works as expected.

Hello. The problem was the socket. It’s quite easy to change actually. I installed a usb charger instead. All works fine now. Thanks for your help of course anyway.
