Hello everybody, I need help, because one of my batteries is ca. 7-8V lower than the two other. This happened after a very low voltage (under 250V) and SLem had to give it a new life with their computer. Now this problem has completly modified my batteries and the only advice the guys at SLem give me is to change my batteries. Before I was able to run 70 km and now I do only 30km on the same run. Anyone has an idea Thank you

There might be a solution - but I would suggest only with some knowledge about electric!! NiCd-batteries, when deeply discharged, act like a short-circuit. Charging won't help. You need to re-alife the deep-discharged cells like that: Discharge your battery-packs (no deep-discharge!) open the battery-pack and find the deep-discharged cells. Connect a fully charged battery in parallel to the deep-discharged cell with a good (!) cable for some 10 seconds. Repeat this for all deep-discharged cells and charge the pack in TWIKE again.

 

This certainly will help to overcome the great voltage-differences.

 

Another idea is to replace single cells - but I would try the first method instead.

Ich habe kürzlich mein Twike ca. 2 Tage an der Ladung gehabt. Die Batterien benehmen sich komisch, sie sind nicht mehr soleistungsfähig, die Reichweite ist auf die Hälfte zusammengeschrumpft. Ich weiss noch nicht wie das Problem gelöst werden kann, ich habe das Gefühl, dass die AH Anzeige nicht stimmt, d.h. dass die effektive Akkukapazität tiefer ist. Ich kenne das Problem!!

 

Wenn die Battereien älter sind (über 2.5 Jahr), so ist der Eigenverbrauch in den Batterien höher.

 

Das heiss, wenn du das Twike lange an die Steckdose hängst, wir die Kapazität kleiner, obwohl nach dem ausziehen noch 8.4 Ah angezeigt werden. Es sind also nicht mehr 8.4 Ah drin!

 

Das bedeutet die Erhaltungsladung ist keiner als der Eigenverbrauch!!!!

 

Konsequenz= Kurz vor dem Abfahren laden!!
